Arent you glad?

We serve an awesome God. Arent you glad He has saved you? I was thinking today about what He saved me from and it totally humbled me. If I am not careful I can easily slide back into that "old" nature of behavior. My old self is constantly making war with my new nature. Praise God that He said He would never leave us or forsake us. Please pray for me as this summer may make a milestone in my life as a missionary. I possibly have a chance to spend the summer in England on an internship with my beautiful fiance. Please pray that I would have wisdom with this. I will be taking photography and using that on the field. If God has given us gifts and talents then who are we not to use them 100% for His glory!? Hey whats up guys? Well Im on a break at work so I thought I would update a bit. Thanks to all my friends who made my bday awesome, you guys rock. I still cant believe im 22 now, oh well. Classes are awesome so far. I picked up another class called intro to Islam and Im really excited to see what its like. So here is my class run down: Hermeneutics 1, Christology, Intro to Islam, Health Mainenance 1, Church History, Biblical foundations of Ministry, Public Speaking

So anyhow, Ive been reading out of Psalms lately and man is it awesome. Its amazing how David expressed his praise to God, it just blows my mind. God has been teaching me a lot lately. Humility is one thing that He is working with me on. Its so easy to get proud...satan knows our every weakness and just like the example of an arrow finding the weak places in armor, satan finds our weak places and drills us non stop. But praise God that we have Jesus on our side who we can run to for help. Just like the Psalmist says, I look to the sky where my help comes from...my help comes from the Lord, maker of Heaven and earth. Wow, thats such a powerful passage.

Anyway...I found this awesome Christian Irish punk band. To all you punkers out there you should really check them out. Their name is Flatfoot 56. Im an ex Dropkick Murphys/Flogging Molly fan so it was aweosme to find a Christian group like that. I'll put them on my music selection so yall can see.I guess thats the Irish coming out in me. I love that kind of music so Ive been rockin out to 'em for quite a while.
